We’re Colleen and Mark.
In August 2022, our superintendent role in Scarborough ended after we were wrongfully terminated. With rental prices across the GTA doubling and even tripling, we chose a different path.
We purchased and moved into our 37.5 ft Mountain Aire motorhome and stayed in the North York and Scarborough area as Mark still had his full-time job as a heavy equipment operator.
Since then, we’ve faced Ontario ice storms, urban parking, hot Summers, job changes, bylaws, conservation-area living, and life on the road with a newborn, and now we’re raising our 2-year-old son, Cameron, in under 400 square feet.
Single income. Full-time. Nomadic. Right here in Ontario, Canada!
We don’t glamorize this lifestyle.
We live it.

What We Do
I (Colleen) share our journey to help future and curious nomads understand what this lifestyle actually looks like, especially here in Ontario and in a true four-season climate. Whether you’re dreaming about RV life, seriously considering going full-time, or already on the road and figuring it out as you go, I share the real costs, the real challenges, and the day-to-day realities so you can make informed decisions and avoid common mistakes.
Behind the scenes, I manage our home, care for Cameron and our animals, and create everything you see across our platforms. From filming and editing to writing, designing, and building our website and digital guides, I handle the full creative side of our brand while keeping our daily life running.
Mark works full-time as a heavy equipment operator, and his steady schedule is what allows us to maintain this lifestyle. His work brings structure and stability to our days, while everything else we’ve built fits around it.
Cameron’s role is simple: he explores, learns, and keeps us on our toes. His days are filled with movement, curiosity, snacks, and discovering the world around him in a way only a toddler can. He’s growing up alongside this lifestyle, and in many ways, he’s at the center of everything we do.
Then there’s the rest of our crew. Chase, Ladybird, Tatonka, and Dip-Dip, our four Jack Russells, bring energy, routine, and a whole lot of personality into our everyday life. Chase and Ladybird are the parents of Tatonka and Dip-Dip. They keep us active, keep things loud, and definitely keep things interesting in a small space. And Tuxedo, our cat, balances it all out. He’s calm, observant, and perfectly content doing his own thing, even in the middle of the chaos.
We’re not experts, we’re just living this life every single day and sharing what we learn along the way so others can decide if this path is right for them.
